On June 19th, 2015, Jerry Carino of the Asbury Park Press posted an article and video featuring some of Soccer Sense’s talented youths. In the piece, titled “Local youth soccer players do amazing things,” Carino highlights our emphasis on player development.

MONROE – Richard Williams said it best: His soccer players “develop a relationship and a bond with the ball.”

It sounds like high-minded theory. But a visit to Soccer Sense, Williams’ development program at the SportsZone complex a long punt off of Route 33, shows the impressive reality. There are 10-year-olds juggling for an eternity without a drop; teenage guys and girls sharing razor-sharp touch passes in moving triangles; kids balancing balls on their foreheads, like it’s stuck there with Krazy Glue.
